Who is eligible to attend Resurgence Hall?
Students zoned for Atlantic Public Schools or Fulton County Schools are eligible to attend Resurgence Hall. For the 2019-2020 school year, applications for our Primary Academy grades K-2 open October 1st.
What is the cut-off age for Kindergarten enrollment?
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019 to be eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.
How do I apply?
There are 2 ways to apply.
Our online application is through SchoolMint. SchoolMint allows families to use the web and their iOS or Android phones and devices to submit applications, upload student documents, check application status, and take next steps in the enrollment process — all from the comfort of their home or while they’re on the go. Applying online is free and simple.
Simply print the application from our website, complete all sections, and upload the document by email (.pdf or .jpg) to firstname.lastname@example.org
When are applications accepted?
Our Open Enrollment period for our Primary School is from October 1, 2018 12 AM EST to March 15, 2019 5 PM EST.
Our open enrollment window is designed to give all interested parents equal opportunity for their child to attend Resurgence Hall by submitting a completed application.
Following the close of open enrollment, if the number of applications exceeds the number of open seats, a random selection lottery determines acceptance. If the number of applications does not exceed the number of open seats, all applicants are accepted for their respective grade.
Is anyone given preference in the enrollment process and lottery?
Yes. For the 2019-2020 lottery, students who are siblings of currently enrolled students at Resurgence Hall Charter School are given preference.
How will I learn the results of the lottery and know if my student has been granted a seat? Results of the lottery, and waitlists by grade, will be available in each applicant’s online SchoolMint account immediately following the lottery event on March 16, 2019. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that Resurgence Hall has the most updated contact information (phone, mailing address and email address) in SchoolMint for notification purposes.
What happens once I am notified that my child(ren) has been granted an available seat?
All students who have been granted an available seat must complete and return registration forms with valid supporting documents by the registration deadline or their seat will be forfeited.
Will my student have to participate in the lottery each year?
No. Once officially enrolled, all Resurgence Hall students will remain enrolled for future years.
